Stainless Steel- Polished or Mill
Stainless Steel: Stainless steels are most notable for their corrosion resistance, which increases with increasing chromium content. Additions of molybdenum increases corrosion resistance in reducing acids and against pitting attack in chloride solutions. Thus, there are numerous grades of stainless steel with varying chromium and molybdenum contents to suit the environment the alloy must endure. Resistance to corrosion and staining, low maintenance, and familiar luster make stainless steel an ideal material for many applications where both the strength of steel and corrosion resistance are required
Copper sheets or coils – 16 Oz or 20 Oz
Copper: Fabricators use copper for blanking, drawing, shearing, and stamping while other commons uses include terminals, busbars, connectors, conductors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, cotter pins, rivets, radiators, gaskets, roofing and gutters. Copper, known also for its antimicrobial properties, is also a great material for surfaces such as kitchen and bathroom counters and backsplashes, sinks and bathtubs. Industrial Metal Supply stocks plate copper sheet as well as textured copper sheet in various sizes
A-606-Cor-Ten coil or sheets (Rusty metal)
A-606-Cor-Ten: Corten sheet, a High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) steel sheet. This unique product is 20-30% lighter than carbon steel and exhibits up to four times the atmospheric corrosion resistance of common structural carbon steel. A606 typically arrives without rust but as it is exposed to external conditions, the steel develops a weathered orange-brown oxide that is resistant to corrosion, increasing its life and durability, and does not require painting. It is weldable, formable, punchable, and machinable using the proper techniques
Paint Loc-Primed sheet metal.
Paint-Loc: Gives residential, agricultural, and light commercial projects the protection of steel, with an attractive appearance. It features an extra striation on top of the rib to give it superior durability and protection against leaking. Electrogalvanized + phosphatized sheet steel. The coating is very thin, withstands most forming operations, has a dull gray matte appearance and is intended to be painted.
Bonderized (Paint Grip) – Coil or sheets.
Bonderized : Bonderized steel, also referred to as paint grip steel, is galvanized steel that has been put through a phosphate bath and a chromate dry. This process produces the dull grey color characteristic of paint grip galvanized steel which provides an excellent “primer” for painting applications. Bonderized material should be immediately painted after installation as the exposed phosphate coating is prone to white rust.
